EXPERIENCED HGV DRIVER C&E, C (Class 1 & 2) and Lorry Loader- Hook
We are currently looking for an experienced Class 1 & 2 HGV DRIVER with C&E, C and Lorry Loader- Hook for our 6 wheel rigid with lifter and 6 wheel tractor unit with trailer combinations. Applicants should be capable of carrying out daily maintenance and checks on our HGV’s and trailers to ensure they are roadworthy.
As leading suppliers of industrial steam and hot water boiler plant we sell and hire industrial boiler plant throughout the UK using our own in-house delivery vehicles. Based in Mildenhall, Suffolk the successful applicant will have the ability to work professionally and safely to deadlines as part of a busy team with occasional nights away.
In your capacity as HGV driver you will be required to possess and use tachograph card and driver’s CPC card, carry out daily checks on vehicles/trailers, ensuring deliveries/collections are made in a professional and timely manner, whilst maintaining excellent communication with your manager/team.
Key requirements:
- Experience as C&E, C (Class 1 & 2) HGV/ Hiab driver with current lifter certification
- Have no more than 6 points on your full, UK licence (no DR, DD or IN codes)
- Possess digital tachograph card & drivers CPC card & have full understanding of tachograph legislation
- Operate professionally and safely within current driving regulations
- Ensure deliveries/collections made in a timely manner
- Provide excellent communication with Manager/team members
- Maintain excellent levels of customer service
- Ensure good, professional self-presentation
- Ability to carry out plant maintenance and checks on HGV’s and trailers an advantage
